Palm got its act together and now its battery-efficient units can in some cases outperform Pocket PCs. This Zire 71 might not have an extremely fast CPU, yet it can perform the same kind of functions as PPCs since the OS is made to be simple and therefore not requiring as much processing. It looks beautiful, performs well, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. With all that in mind, I have to give the Palm Zire 71 handheld a 9.2/10.
