:. Installation .: Installation was very easy but make sure you take your time and also make sure the appliqué will fit on the window before you start anything. First, you will have to clean the surface with a non-abrasive cleanser like soap and water.
After its all clean and dry,
The Shattered Web recommends you spray a fine mist of water on the
surface just incase you would like to reposition the graphic or you would like
to take it off because something went wrong ;). Next you will have to remove
the opaque white backing and this is where you have to start going slow and
paying close attention to what you do because you don't what the sticker to
stay on the white backing. After you remove
the backing you can apply the sticker to the surface and make sure you press
down the sticker and remove the other backing. If you notice any air bubbles
use the blue plastic card that is included and make sure you do it from the
center. Push it to the outside and if there are any air bubbles left just
leave them because, they will be gone after a few days. Also make sure
you DON'T poke holes in the air bubbles because it will leave a rough edge
around the poked area.

:. Cons .: :. Conclusion .: This is a very easy mod to add to your case and also the overall quality and price are
the best thing about
The Shattered Web. They know their stuff so give them a shot. They also make custom appliqués and I know a lot of people out there must have a sweet design in their
head that they would love to put on their computer. If you are interested in a custom appliqué make sure you go and check The Shattered Web website
and speak to Terry. I am giving these appliqués the Modfactor.com Top Pick! award (10/10) because of the quality of the product the price and also how cool the chrome look on my window.
Terry Zahn has just acquired an artist who will do
custom drawings for individuals who cannot draw. He in turn sends Terry
the image after the approval of the client and he will turn it into an
applique for them. So for someone who does not see anything they like we
can now draw what they want and convert it to an applqiqué :)
He is also receiving blue and green fluorescent on August the 27th.
I would like to thank Terry Zahn from The Shattered Web for sending these custom chrome Appliqués to Modfactor.com. modfactor.com rating: 10/10 |
