:. CHROME Appliqué Kit - The Shattered Web .: The Shattered Web is at this time a small company located in Yelm, Washington.
Their main objective is to provide quality graphics and not only this. They also
have great service that I experienced first hand and Terry, the owner, makes
purchasing his quality appliqués a simple and easy process. After a couple emails Terry set me up with 3 custom appliqués and
I
received them shortly after. When I reviewed my appliqués just from looking at them you can see the quality of them and also
The Shattered Web is kind enough to include a blue plastic card that will help you in removing air bubbles. Before you applied your appliqué make sure you clean the window or case with a non-abrasive cleanser like soap
such as I did with my window. After I was done cleaning and making sure no
soap was on the window, I made sure the appliqué fit on the window and I decided to use the chrome 7 1/2 one. The actual installation of the appliqué is very easy and once you are done you will notice a big difference.
It adds a huge touch to a dull window; the chrome looks really sweet with my
aluminum case. One thing I did noticed was that air bubbles did appear but
that is normal. Make sure you don't poke holes in the design to get rid of the bubbles.
I recommend waiting a few days and the bubbles will disappear. These appliqués are not needed but I would have to say that my window started to look very dull.
It just needed that extra something that was missing before. I can still see everything in my computer
while having a funky new design. The Chrome as well matches great
with my aluminum Lian Li. The
shine and reflection look pretty sweet compared to a regular white appliqué. |
