:. Installation .:
This type of fan is the easiest fan to install.
Basically take off your old socket 478 fan off and place this one on top of
the CPU compartment. Once in place, swing the clamp on top of the cooler and
it will latch on to the four connectors. Next connect the CPU power cable
and you're done. :. Performance .:
Comparing this cooler to a stock fan, we see that the
Spire EasyStream performs slightly better. It does take off a degree or two
and does it in a whisper quiet manner. That's one of the fantastic features
I must keep pointing out in this fan: It is so quiet and it also performs
much better than a stock cooler. This fan ideal for someone who is not into
overclocking, but still wants to keep their CPU healthy and does not want to
hear noise coming from their computer.
If you are planning to overclock, look away from this
fan. It simply will not cool to such an extent as other fans do.
The results on the bottom show that you will generally
lower your temperature by about one or more degree when comparing the
EasyStream to a general stock cooler.

:. Pros and Cons .: :. Pros .:
- Very Quiet
- Good Price
- Socket 478 Clamp
:. Cons .: :. Conclusion .:
Because this fan is not designed for overclocking
purposes it would be wrong to rate it by comparing it to such fans. This fan
is in another category for the "non-overclocking performance fans". The
EasyStream is one of the quietest fans I have tested and because it still
maintains such low noise and performs much better than stock, it would be hard
to pass up on a cooler of this caliber.
It cools like a charm, it's easy to install, it's quiet,
it's one good overall fan and that is why I have to give this fan a 8/10.
