:. Cooler Master Neon LED FAN TLF-R82  .:

There is a very high demand at this time for new and unique products that PC modders would like. Because of the amount of user requests, Cooler Master has  decided to produce something that is innovative and not just another copy of some other clear fan with a LED in it.

When I received the TLF-R82 and opened up the box, I noticed how perfect the transparent plastic was and how Cooler Master decided to add four (4) LEDs in this fan. I have been informed by Cooler Master that these LEDs cost about twice as much when compared to red and green LEDs. I would also like to mention that Cooler Master has done a great job on the LED placement (Outer rim of the frame). Not only does the whole fan light up and its surroundings but also you can see a very cool twisted glowing effect on the blades.

At the time of the review I did not have another LED fan but as I can remember the last time I had a look at a regular LED Fan, I can notice that these LEDs are actually a higher quality and brighter. The color is also richer and this all means that the fan will cost a bit more because of this quality. For example, the TTC-A24 and TTC-F18 are not your ordinary rounded cables that you have grown to know. I personally believe these fans are the same, yes its just a fan with LEDs in it but Cooler Master has put that extra effort to make it not only look nicer but also the actual quality is higher compared to your ordinary LED Fan.

Lastly, I would like to mention what kind of bearing type Cooler Master is using on this LED fan. Cooler Master has not officially announced the actual theory or the technology yet, but I did get some information from Tony Lam from Cooler Master.

"Rifle bearing is kind of sleeve bearing however it has some special mechanism that will increase Life Expectance of the fan (still slightly less than ball bearing). It’s also quieter than sleeve and ball bearing fans." -Tony Lam
