:. Installation .:
The installation, as I mentioned before, was extremely easy. All you have to do is take the power adapter and connect it to the unit and also the wall socket then install the drivers on your computer and lastly connect the USB 2.0 cable to the motherboard or USB 2.0/1.1 adapter. That's it you're
done and ready to use the unit!
:. Pros and Cons .: :. Pros .: - Easy to use
- USB 2.0 (Fast)
- Portable
-
:. Cons .: - No USB 2.0 adapter
- No Switch to turn it off
:. Conclusion .: If you want a fast and easy backup solution then you
can’t go wrong with the Maxtor 3000LE. Also, if 40GB is not enough for you
(because you're some big shot or something) Maxtor also has a 120GB 3000LE
unit. For the price you are paying this is well worth it if you need to take
your work from the office to your home. If you don't want the hassle of a
network but want to share files occaisionally between multiple computers then
this unit is just right. The only think I would like to add
is in regards to a power switch. Maxtor should include one in any future external hard drives
so it can be turned off safely. Overall, the 3000LE is a great buy and Maxtor did a great job on it.
You won’t be disappointed with your purchase with this product and that's why I would like to give the
Maxtor 3000LE our Top Pick award. modfactor.com rating: 9.5/10 |
